Dr. Christy Robinson
Dear John Pittard families,
I am excited and proud to serve as the principal of John Pittard Elementary school. I’m a native of Murfreesboro, educated in the Murfreesboro City School and Rutherford County School systems. I attended Hobgood Elementary, Central Middle School, and Oakland High School. Upon completion of high school, I attended Middle Tennessee State University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education. I earned a master and specialist in education degrees from MTSU. My final degree is a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Tennessee State University. Prior to finding a home at John Pittard, I was a kindergarten teacher at Black Fox Elementary for 22 years. Later, becoming an assistant principal at the Discovery School. These experiences allow me to have a greater understanding of how to support all of our students in the John Pittard community.
On a personal note, I am married to Troy Robinson, and we have three sons and a daughter. Their ages range from 27 to 17. We have a sweet dog named Paisley Amber. I attend Olive Branch Church with my family. I am a soccer mom, cheering on my son and the Mars Hills Lions. I am a dance and musical theatre mom. I am actively involved with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Murfreesboro Education Association, and other community organizations. I am blessed to hold many honors and awards as an educator and community member. I love to attend decorator show houses, concerts, football games especially the Tennessee Titans, and any activity supporting family and friends.
As I enter this my 31st year in education, it will be a year like no other! I along with the staff at John Pittard, have intentionally worked to create a family atmosphere which is loving, fun and an exciting place for all to learn. I love being a John Pittard Lion! I am committed to creating special memories for every student we have the privilege of educating.

Dr. Kennye Holt
Hello, John Pittard Families!
It is an honor to serve John Pittard as Assistant Principal! I have been a Murfreesboro resident for over 20 years and have loved spending my educational career with Murfreesboro City School District. I have received degrees from both Middle Tennessee State University and Trevecca Nazarene University in curriculum, instruction, and educational leadership. Most recently, I received my doctorate in education and I look forward to serving the students and families of Murfreesboro City better as a result. I love working with children, teachers, and families to support student learning and growth.
Outside of the school setting, I love spending time with my husband, two daughters, and our two golden retrievers. We enjoy biking, camping, and generally spending time outdoors together. I also enjoy exercising, reading, and learning new skills whenever I can.
I love being part of the Pittard Family and look forward to continuing to serve the students, teachers, and families of this wonderful community!
