Bethany Jackson

Welcome to 5th Grade!

Miss Jackson's Class

I am very excited to be beginning my eighth year of teaching 5th grade! I graduated from Lincoln County High School in 2004 and went on to attend Motlow State Community College for 2 years. After that, I transferred to MTSU and graduated in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6. I began teaching shortly after graduation at Mitchell-Neilson Elementary. After spending a year there, I came to JPE and have been here for 6 years.

I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, Oliver. I love kayaking and canoeing down the Elk River during the summer. I love music and spend a lot of time discovering new artists. Aside from teaching, I am a freelance makeup artist and spend much of my free time doing makeup for weddings and photo-shoots. I have also coached the cheerleading squad here at JPE for 6 years and can't wait to coach again this year.

I look forward to spending another year teaching 5th grade math and science at the best school with the most awesome kids in Murfreesboro!
